The European Parliament awards INTRASOFT International one of the largest IT service provision contracts worth EUR 68 million.

INTRASOFT International has been awarded by the European Parliament two lots from one of the largest framework contracts in the EU IT Service Provision market worth EUR 68 million. The European Parliament, based in Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg, is the institution that represents the citizens of EU Member States and, hence, it constitutes the EU's most important legislative institution.

Under the two awarded lots,  more than 100 IT experts will be engaged to develop all the major information systems for the European Parliament, and to provide user support at the Parliament's various sites. The contract is in place for an initial period of two years that could potentially be extended to a total period of five years. INTRASOFT’s overall participation amounts to EUR 46 million.

INTRASOFT International has been working with the European Parliament for more than 10 years and has a dedicated team of over 50 staff, all of whom have a strong knowledge of the way the European Parliament operates and how its main systems have been built. INTRASOFT International is currently involved in major application development activities with the European Paliament, and the new contract will enable the company to continue providing high-quality services to its client.
