Development and Integration Services represents a significant volume of our business activity. From creation of new custom-developed applications, to linking applications to each other, through to implementation and rollout of new applications and infrastructure, INTRASOFT International possesses a successful track record that asserts its ability to consistently deliver quality IT systems on-time, on-budget and to customer satisfaction.

Building, integrating, deploying and maintaining information systems that support the free movement of people, capital, services and goods across Europe is the area where we lead the competition. We have designed and built some of the largest and most complex systems in the world using innovative technologies. Our services embrace the whole spectrum of activities involved in the development of such information systems, from feasibility analysis through to deployment and support, guided by formal methodologies and based on state-of-the-art technological solutions.

Our Software Engineers, Analysts and Programmers keep abreast of all major technology innovations and developments that can add value to our business activities. We are using a series of development platforms, chosen on the basis of their suitability, adaptability, scalability and flexibility, to successfully design and implement custom-built solutions, which meet complex customer requirements under strict Service Level Agreements (SLA).

We aim to be a valuable partner and enabler to our customers by focusing on high quality service and support. We also transfer relevant know-how and experience to our clients through extensive training and ICT courses on all aspects of the solution we deliver, covering all operational and maintenance aspects.

Applying software methodologies

INTRASOFT International applies a formal approach to defining software methodologies in order to deliver consistent value to our clients. Sound methodologies prevent teams from getting frustrated with having to spend too much time creating processes rather than on solving business problems. Methodologies provide project teams with the right tools, templates and guidelines to enable them to deliver pragmatic results as effectively as possible.

The approach involves looking at the particular conditions that apply to the project work undertaken at INTRASOFT International. More specifically, development and service work. The first step is to define the phases associated with each type of project.

For each project phase the following are developed:

  • Best Practices
  • Templates for activities and documents
  • Guidelines
  • Checklists
  • Metrics

The guidelines and best practices are constantly evolving based on feedback from project teams, technology and advances in industry. Projects may also customise the tools used, in order to meet specific client needs and requirements.

We are currently evaluating new approaches in order to deliver increased value to our clients:

XP (Extreme Programming) - XP (Extreme Programming) is a set of values, principles and practices for rapidly developing high-quality software that provides the greatest value for customers in the fastest way possible.

SEI CMM (Capability Maturity Model) - The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for software development is a model for building organisational capability and has been widely adopted in the software community and beyond. The SEI CMM is a five level model that describes good engineering and management practices, and prescribes improvement priorities for software organisations.

ISO 9001 2000 - INTRASOFT International has recently been certified under ISO 9001:2000. This certification covers all services provided by the company.

ISO 20000:1-2005  - INTRASOFT International has recently been certified under ISO 20000:1-2005. This certification covers all services provided by the company.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a best practice methodology for IT services, including but not limited to Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, Service Desk and Incident Management. Most INTRASOFT International's Service Consultants hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate. This certification provides our professionals with a solid background of ITIL methodology and with field experience in implementing one or more ITIL best practices.
