Luxembourg, 07 June 2017 - INTRASOFT International, a global ICT company, recently signed a new contract with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD) that covers trans-European system management and coordination (ITSM3 - TES).
The project, which was awarded in April 2017, will run for eight years until 2025.
Under the multimillion euro ITSM contract INTRASOFT will provide IT services and solutions furthering the integration of DG TAXUD’s IT systems with those of the national authorities, enabling advanced business solutions. The services offered are expected to vary in scope and include the definition and implementation of transformation projects and the deployment and operations of trans-European systems, among others. The goal of the mission critical ITSM3- TES project is two-fold, to facilitate and promote tighter collaboration of national taxation and customs authorities under DG TAXUD coordination, and to enhance cross-border exchange.
Mr. Alexandros Manos, Managing Director of INTRASOFT International commented: “ITSM3 – TES is not only a milestone win for INTRASOFT this year, but also a significant recognition of a job well done by an extremely competent team, that has worked hard to provide state-of-the-art services to the European Commission for the past two decades. Through the ITSM projects INTRASOFT has developed subject matter expertise and deep technical knowledge for the design, implementation and management of customs and taxation IT systems, focused on the European taxation and customs union. This unique know-how, when combined with the long list of successful national implementations and regional integration projects worldwide, clearly distinguishes INTRASOFT as a global leader in the field, and the ideal partner to nations and unions of nations that wish to embark on the modernization of their taxation and customs systems”.
