Luxembourg, 27 September 2016 - INTRASOFT International, a global ICT company, has been selected by the European Union Agency for Railways for the provision of effective communication strategy advice and the development of communication plans and products. This four-year contract highlights the company's extensive experience in the field of communications and its status as a leading supplier of communication services to the European institutions.
The European Union Agency for Railways has the mission of reinforcing safety and interoperability of railways throughout Europe, and thus adding a strong new momentum towards the shared vision of a truly integrated, competitive European railway area. It develops, promotes and monitors EU standards in railway interoperability and safety. It also acts as the system authority for the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).
The Agency has a broad constituency of stakeholders and partners including rail industry, rail associations and rail professionals, as well as a range of partners in the European rail regulatory network, such as national authorities and European institutional partners. As such it requires different strategies and communications products to reach these varied stakeholder groups.
INTRASOFT International will be providing a wide range of services, from template creation and graphic design to strategic advice on communication activities. Furthermore, the company’s information and communication team will undertake the design and implementation of surveys and stakeholder research as well the impact assessment of all communication activities, using the newly-developed VARID tool.
Special emphasis is also placed on the editorial aspects of the contract. INTRASOFT International will be utilizing its core team of editorial experts to gather and analyse data and information and draft original content addressing a variety of stakeholder audiences. In addition, copywriters and campaign specialists will focus on the creation of focused content and slogans that can be localized across EU Member States.
